We're delighted to announce that Dairy Crest has chosen to support Macmillan Cancer Support in 2009 and 2010.
Macmillan Cancer Support exists to help improve the lives of people affected by cancer, their families and carers.
Macmillan helps in ways people affected by cancer can see and touch, from information leaflets to specialist medical cancer care and emotional support. They are a force for change, they influence and they campaign. They put people living with cancer at the heart of everything they do. Macmillan's ambition is to reach everyone living with a cancer diagnosis and by 2010 they hope to be able to support them at every stage of their cancer journey, no matter who they are, what part of the country they live in, or what type of cancer they have. It is Dairy Crest's ambition to help Macmillan achieve this.
We operate a staff lottery through a staff charity society, The Dairy Crest Charity Fund. This is a society lottery which is operated under license from Elmbridge Local Authority and is open to all Dairy Crest employees. Funds from the lottery will go to our charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support, during 2009 and 2010. Dairy Crest is a member of the Lotteries Council.
